EMS named as “Customer’s Choice for Europe 2019” by Sirva Worldwide Relocation & Moving

Elite Moving Systems (EMS) are hugely honoured to have received an award from Sirva Worldwide Relocation & Moving at the recent SIRVA conference in Chicago in October.

Consistent high-performance levels, excellent customer satisfaction scores and great customer services provided by the entire team at EMS in providing International Moving Services to Sirva Worldwide Relocation & Moving, were all major factors which helped us achieve this success.

Ronan Woodhouse, CEO, Owner & Spokesperson of EMS, proudly said, “We are extremely delighted and proud to have received this award from Sirva Worldwide Relocation & Moving, which confirmed us as their ‘Customer’s Choice for Europe 2019’.  This award is a great recognition of our service excellence to them over the past year and is a fantastic achievement for EMS”.

Ronan and his wife Kate were honoured to receive the award from Deborah Wonson, Director, Global Moving Network at Sirva Worldwide Relocation & Moving, as can be seen from the photo above.

This award clearly demonstrates that EMS continues to be one of the world’s leading suppliers of Corporate Moving Services to the Relocation Management Companies (RMC’s).

Our success is largely down to our team of dedicated international move managers and to our professionally trained packing & delivery crews, who have worked extremely hard to achieve this accolade. Ronan also said, “I am extremely proud of my staff. We have built up a unique team of people who specialise in providing guidance and support to our customers, agents and clients alike.  We have heavily invested in training for all our staff including our team of International Move Specialists, ensuring that our staff are comfortable and confident in their roles and helping them to enhance and strengthen their skills and knowledge.”

EMS continues to show substantial growth year-on-year across all areas of our business and in a tough market place.  EMS now employs a team of 55 people – most of whom are dedicated International Move Managers working on business we receive through the RMC’s.  We have established ourselves as the “Mover of Choice” for the RMC’s.

What separates EMS from our competitors is that we provide International Moving Services only and not other Relocation Services such as home search, school search, orientation trips, etc.  We find this to be a great advantage for us, as our RMC client base does not view us as a threat or as a competitor. All RMC’s working with EMS knows this to be the case. This knowledge provides RMC’s with an added layer of comfort and peace of mind in the knowledge that EMS aligns itself more closely with the values of the RMC’s.

Winning this award is a great achievement for EMS and it fills everyone at EMS with great pride and fulfilment.  EMS will continue striving to provide high-quality moving services to every one of our customers in the future.

EMS Awarded FIDI Faim Accreditation

Since its establishment in 2005, EMS has been committed to delivering a quality service. Our ethos has always been to ‘do the right thing,’ which means abiding by the rules that affect both us and our customers, in the UK and globally.

Compliance is something we take very seriously at EMS, which is why we have regular external audits conducted by FIDI and BAR. In October, we were again awarded with FIDI FAIM accreditation, as a top performer with zero non compliances following an independent audit conducted by EY.

This demonstrates our ongoing commitment to compliance, as part of our policy standards of Corporate and Social Responsibility (CSR), Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Privacy and Service Level Agreements.

Dedicated to compliance

The comprehensive audit conducted by EY covered all aspects of EMS’ operations, and confirmed that our organisation currently has zero non-conformities. As a result, we have been awarded FIDI Faim accreditation for another three years, alongside the BS8564 accreditation we already hold.

This puts us in the top tier of competitors and suppliers in the global relocation marketplace. The FIDI hallmark for integrity, quality and co-operation in the industry gives our customers and partners confidence that every move is compliant with industry standards on CSR, Anti-Bribery, Corruption, Privacy and Service Level Agreements.

Privacy of data is particularly relevant as we head into 2018; the incoming General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will place newfound emphasis on protecting the data of those moving from one country to another. At EMS, we only hold that information for as long as we need it, and strictly control access so that only authorised people can access passport information, addresses, history and more.

Continually pushing for improvement

Despite our outstanding performance in external audits, we don’t rest on our laurels at EMS. We maintain compliance through a range of checks and balances, including training that ensures all staff members can uphold the same high standards. This is monitored by our strong operational management team, who work hard to create a positive environment where people can listen to one another and follow up on actions.

We also regularly look for ways to improve on our compliance measures, which is why we’re currently in the process of reviewing our IT standards and installing a new IT system that will further strengthen our processes. In doing so, we ensure that EMS continues to rank in the top tier of global moving companies, and retains the trust of our clients.

We take pride in our transparent approach to compliance. Each email that you receive from an EMS staff member will have a link to these policies on the signature strips. You can also view our compliance policies on our website.
